DG3 wide-temperature 48 V DC servo drive with dual encoder
The DG3 family, specified when the cabinet runs hot or cold, or when you want a redundant position channel. Operating range is -40 to +70 °C, and it accepts a dual encoder arrangement - one channel for the motor, one for the stage.

| Specification | Value |

| Operating temperature | -40 to +70 °C |
| Storage temperature | -50 to +80 °C |
| Rated voltage | 24-72 VDC |
| Rated current | 3-20 Arms |
| Encoder | Dual encoder arrangement |
| EtherCAT real-time cycle | ≤ 2 kHz (DG3) |
| Core module dimensions | 55 x 46.5 x 20 mm |
What to know about this drive
- DG3's EtherCAT real-time cycle is ≤ 2 kHz, while other EtherCAT models in the range run ≤ 4 kHz. That matters if you are planning a tightly synchronised multi-axis configuration.
- The dual encoder lets you detect drift or a mechanical fault in the stage itself, rather than inferring it from the motor encoder - a real diagnostic gain where a placement error is expensive to find late.
- For wide-temperature requirements, DG is the family to specify. The UF platform is 0 to +45 °C only.
Other UF interface options
EtherCAT
Supports STO, and the variant to specify when axes have to be synchronised.
CANopen
Point-to-point bus for single-axis machines. No STO.
Modbus-RTU
Pragmatic when the machine already speaks Modbus everywhere else. No STO.
Pulse and direction
The retrofit route into an existing motion controller. No STO.
